Ranked anxiety (also known as ladder/performance anxiety) is an issue that many people struggle with. This video will teach you why you experience it, how to cope with it, and how to overcome it.

You can experience it while playing many different games such as League, Dota, CSGO, Starcraft, even real life sports/activities! Essentially any element where there is competition or pressure.

You just suck and that's ok

Purge of Dota 2 just updated his classic 'Welcome to Dota: You suck' guide, and there's a really on point section about 'MMR Hell' that I wanted to share with all of you. It's just as pertinent to this game, and will hopefully give you a little perspective (altered into LoL terminology):

The biggest misconception due to this is the fake principle of 'ELO Hell'. The idea is that you are unlucky and get worse than average teammates which result in you not advancing in LP, ever. This doesn’t exist.

The reality is that being good at LoL is extremely multidimensional, as you've probably figured out from the guide.

For example, it’s easy to look at your Kill/Death/Assist ratio and notice that yours is better than your teammates. This leads you to think that your teammates obviously died too many times and that you played better, but perhaps you didn’t back them up enough. Maybe you didn’t do a good enough job zoning the top laner, ganking, or last hitting.

There are MANY reasons that games are lost, but the chances of you getting unlucky with allies is the least likely one.

So look at yourself before you look at others, it's the only way you're going to move up in league. There's nothing wrong with sucking as long as you're honest with yourself about it :)

Teryd has a way better user interface and overall nicer to use, however it has not yet updated to season 5. It used to be my go to theory crafting website and I'm hoping i can get it enough attention here that people can email the dev on the website and plead for updates. It really was a nice tool to use" Let's all try to mail the dev so he can update the site!
  • LOLDB Global - This site allows you to watch replays of your games. It also has champion and player stats.
  • Summoner School - A subreddit for all of the new summoners.

In this video I go over how to predict the enemies movements and just how something subtle can be a tell tale. It's mostly examples and using deductive reasoning, this is to show you guys the mindset that you should have to jungle.

Oskar "raspbearyart" Vega

Hey everyone. Mowzer here. I am a diamond jungle main on both the Korean and NA servers. I have been playing since closed beta and I love theory crafting. Here is my sixth tier list for junglers for Solo Q. This list is for patch 5.4 and focuses on Junglers in general. These are the champions, I feel, are strong in Solo Q, but that does not mean that everyone else is trash. I have spent a great deal of time thinking, playing games (on both NA and KR), testing champions, reading guides, and watching games to develop this list.
For the full tier list with a cleaner format and champion cards check it out here.
This patch rocked the jungle a bit with a few changes:
  • Jarvan is going to be taking more damage from physical attacks from champions and the jungle. He received a minor armor buff to his armor, but his E no longer grants passive armor to him. Also, they fixed/nerfed his knockuo working in various scenarios outside of the E + Q pathing.
  • Junglers that enjoyed the short lived item swap won’t like the 250 gold cost change. This will make it for various junglers that enjoyed getting trailblazer and swaping it out later for a more aggressive smite.
  • Warrior enchant lost 5 damage. It’s not a massive change, but the nerf can be felt.
  • A big change was to smite. Smite’s range was lowered from 750 to 500 (edge of champion’s hitbox to edge of opponent’s hitbox), which results in ~175 range loss against champions. This will make is considerably harder to get chilling smite off on enemy champions.
  • Revive removed . . . bye? Doesn’t really do anything to junglers.
The following are listed from strongest to weakest, but none of these junglers are remotely under powered. Also, at the end of the list I have included what I feel are the 11-20 junglers, in no specific order. Attention This is a top ten tier list, not a complete tier list. I will say that again, this is NOT a complete tier list of every champion that can jungle.

Top 4 jungle bans: Vi, Fiddle Sticks, Lee Sin, Nidalee.
Top 5 - The big hitters: note(5th to 1st) means that I ranked the champion on my list at 5th last time and now is placed 1st. Unlisted means they were not on the previous list.
  1. Vi (2nd to 1st) – A smashing good time. No longer in the shadow of Jarvan. The recent changes to the jungle and other junglers have helped her rise. She has everything needed to carry in solo Q. She can go either full tank, tanky damage, or full damage. Her W helps her do decent to good damage all game and the armor shred is welcomed by all ADs. Q can be good for positioning, gap closing, clearing, and CC. Watch the distance on Q, because falling short on terrain will leave you stranded. Try not to put too much distance between you and your team, because you can end up surrounded by enemies with no allies around. Using Q on camps can line up the monsters for clearing, but avoid spamming it without blue while farming or you’ll run OOM. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros - Solid CC, shred. Cons - poor disengage, mana issues. Vi's Champion Card.
  2. Lee Sin (3rd to 2nd) – Blindly moving forward. Some things have changes, but he isn’t going anywhere. The changes to smite and jungle item changing barely affect him. He has the utility and playmaking to carry his team to an early lead. Sightstone on him allows for great mobility and fantastic ward coverage. The downfalls of him come from his high skill cap and poor scaling. He excels in the early to mid game, but he then starts to fall off. Watch how you position your kicks, because a bad kick can either save the enemy or send a hostile target into your fragile team. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros - Lots of utility, great invading. Cons - weak late game, player skill dependent. Lee Sin's Champion Card.
  3. Nidalee (4th to 3rd) – Shifty spears hit their mark. This cougar likes to prey on the young and the weak. Her mobility and damage are not to be underestimated. She has an amazing kit to carry in Solo Q. Plaster the map with traps that provide vision once activated for an early warning system. Also, it proves a speed boost and shreds a bit of health. Her Q in cougar form is a scaling Garen ult on a short cooldown and is a great skill to secure objectives and kills with. She depends greatly on landing her spears to do damage, but even without being fully accurate she has a lot to offer the team. Her heal is amazing for replenishing your target and providing a steroid for your ADC. Suggested jungle enchant: Magus. Pros - high mobility, great damage. Cons - No CC, skillshot dependent. Nidalee's Champion Card.
  4. Fiddle Sticks (8th to 4th) - An Awkward surprise. He’s been nerfed a number of times in recent patches, but it has done very little to hurt him. Riot has only nerfed his damage output, but has done nothing to harm his amazing kit. He does well all game and has a top notch team fight. He only needs a few items, hourglass and mobility boots, to crush. He can solo dragon during his first clear at level three or four without having to back. Upgrade your sweeper trinket early. His biggest weakness is the enemy team having vision of him or the ability to CC him before he can get his damage off. Suggested jungle enchant: Magus. Pros - lots of CC, solid team fight. Cons - being CC’ed, vision of him. Fiddlesticks' Champion Card.
  5. Pantheon (5th to 5th) – The flying mandrop. This is SOLO Q! He’s been up and down on this list, but he hasn’t fallen off of it. He has an amazing early and mid game. He can easily get around the map and snowball a lead. His ultimate is more of a utility/map control tool than a source of damage. He falls off late game, but itemizing against your enemy and a good lead can keep you viable throughout the game. Rushing damage without a tank on the team can turn you into a paper stun bot. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros - strong ganks, powerful early-mid game. Cons - weak late game, poor escape.Pantheon's Champion Card.
Bottom 5 - The runners up:
  1. Rek'sai (7th to 6th) – Incoming Rekt’sai. This saucy minx isn’t afraid to get her nails dirty. A number of nerfs have hit her, but her kit is solid for solo Q. She has high mobility and an amazing damage to tank ratio. Her ultimate allows for her to easily get around the map, for free. Also, it gives her the advantage of being able to split push while having flash too. Maintaining a level advantage with her ultimate is rather easy. It can be hard for her to land her CC and can be kited rather easily. Make sure to place tunnels wisely or the enemy team will be laughing all the way to the bank. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros - high damage to tank ratio, high mobility. Cons - being kited, iffy CC.
  2. Sejuani (10th to 7th) – The frostbitten delivery. She’s been around for a while, but has had issues getting to the top. The recent changes to the jungle or other junglers have helped her greatly. She can be built mage tank or pure tank and still punish her enemies. She has great initiate and a load of CC. She does rather well all game and scales while becoming tankier. She lacks any form of sustain and has mana issues early on. Avoid spamming without blue and make sure to either carry potions to keep your health up or back before ganking. Remember, she has an amazing team fight, so don’t give up from being down a little. Suggested jungle enchant: Juggernaut/magus. Pros - lots of CC, solid team fight. Cons - no sustain, mana issues early levels.
  3. Jarvan the IV (1st to 8th) – One fallen from grace. Riot finally nerfed him and you know what? I am glad! Why? Now I can finally get to play him again. That and it’s amazing how many people don’t read patch notes. The removal of armor on his E has hurt him, a lot. He has a, marginally, higher base armor, but isn’t not saving him. He takes considerably more damage than before in the jungle and he can’t Solo Ads nearly as much as he could. He is still an amazing jungler and a great top laner. He can’t knock up people as much with the nerfs to his E + Q combo too. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros - Strong ganks, solid team fight. Cons - being invaded, mana issues.
  4. Shaco (11-20 to 9th) – A little magic trick. The demonic trickster has deceived his way onto the list. He does amazingly well in Solo Q. He can easily start without a leash, provided you can get your boxes down properly. He can start at either his buffs or counterjungle the enemy buff. He has fantastic ganks and can outplay the enemy team with a few tricks. His ultimate can dodge abilities, such as Vi’s ultimate and he can split push with ease. Also, he can solo dragon rather easily at level four. He is very gold dependent and doesn’t have the best team fight. Don’t pick him without a decent team already built. He takes some skill and getting used to. A good Shaco is a terroer, a bad Shaco is a true terror. It seems the enemy Shaco is always a god though and the one I am stuck with is. . .crap. . .it’s me. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – amazing ganks, great split pushing. Cons – weak team fights, player skill dependent.
  5. Udyr (11-20 to 10th) – Shape shifting moods. PETA's worst nightmare. I have had my ups and downs on him, but he has a very strong Solo Q presence. He can clear the jungle rather easily and isn’t afraid of most invades. He has great mobility with stance shifting and can stick to a target rather well. Both approaches of tiger and phoenix are strong, but your play style and current situation will dictate which fits you and the current state better. He needs gold to get snowballing and can be kited rather easily. He lacks gap closing outside of running really fast at a target and stance shifting a stun on them. Suggested jungle enchant: Devourer/Juggernaut. Pros – high mobility, easy jungle clears. Cons – rather easily kited, item dependent.
Contested champions: (these are champions I wanted to place in top 10 but felt others did slightly better): Xin Zhao – Ghetto Jarvan was a close top 10 pick after the changes to the jungle. He’s similar to Jarvan in many ways and has no issues clearing the jungle. Wu Kong – Not allowed to discuss him, because someone might murder me. Cho'gath - A tanky ap that brings a lot of CC to table and great damage to tank ratio. He has no issues clearing the jungle. Kha'zix - the evolving hyper carry that can easily reset his way to a killing spree. Having to pay to change the jungle item gimped his comeback.
11-20 Junglers: This section was added by request and will not be explained in detail. They are in no specific order. Wu Kong, Rengar, Kha'zix, Cho'gath, Nunu, Hecarim, Amumu, Evelynn, Xin Zhao, Master Yi.
My Personal Choice: Cho’God – I have always liked Cho’gath, both in lane and in the jungle. He has great AP damage to tank ratio and has great CC. He can secure objectives easily with his ultimate and has no issues clearing the jungle. His downfalls stem from the ability of the player to land skillshots or the enemy able to dodge them and he gets kited rather easily. Early game he runs out of mana insanely fast. Cho'gath's Champion Card.
Honorable mentions - every champion in the game not mentioned above.
God-tier - Urgod, stil don't ask questions.

I post all my tier lists on goldper10.com and they can be seen there along with my other articles and comic series. I am currently working on another tier list. This one will focus on five specific champions, I feel, are good for climbing in bronze, silver, and gold. I will include possible runes, masteries, builds, etc. If you are interested, let me know. I hope everyone is enjoying these tier lists. Thank you for all the support, feedback, and criticism. I greatly appreciate it! My social sites are Facebook, Twitch, Youtube, and Twitter. I owe two great people thanks. First, to my amazing girlfriend that goes out of her way to make sure everything I do is the best. Thanks babe. You mean the world to me. Second, thanks goes to Nunire for checking my work, input, and helping me with various design projects. Thanks Mijo. Have a wonderful day and best of luck to you in your games.

TL;DR – This patch hurt junglers in a few ways. It now costs gold to change the jungle item and smite has a shorter range. Jarvan has been knocked off his throne.

I was shocked that I ended up wasting one of my potions. I thought his sustain would be WAY worse than this. Keep in mind that he is obviously faster if he gets a leash and better. He will likely still end up as a "for fun" jungler to play in normals with friends.

Hey guys, I posted this in /r/summonerschool a week or so back and it got a lot of positive feedback so I figured I would post it to the entire League community as I think it's a very underrated mechanic in League.
What is lane management?Lane management is a fairly broad term and it's a subtle aspect of the game that when exploited will slowly start to earn you exp and cs leads over your opponent. I like to break lane management up into 4 separate categories, one for every situation.
  • Holding Lane. This is typically how you want to manage your lane during the early stages of the game when neither you nor your opponent have a clear advantage. Holding lane is where you do your best to keep your the minion waves in the current position they are in in lane. You do this by looking at both you and your opponents minions. Ideally you want your minion wave to die right around the same as time the enemies minion wave or a little bit earlier in order to prevent yourself from pushing your lane. This makes it much harder for you to get ganked and allows for easy last hitting.
  • Slow Push. Slow pushing lane typically occurs when the enemy is vulnerable due to low health, mana etc. What this does is it will slowly build your wave up and push to the enemies tower. There is no set way to "slow push" per say but the best thing to do is to auto each creep once when they are full health and then focus on getting the last hits. You do this when your enemy is vulnerable because it forces them to focus on csing under tower allowing for poke chances under their tower, as well as the fact that you are probably denying your opponent some farm, which is great. When you slow push make sure you have good ward coverage because you are pushing lane, making you vulnerable even if the enemy is also low.
  • Hard Push. Hard pushing is something you want to do when you know the enemy is gone. This is something so many low elo players do not do and it ends up making them lose up to 20-40 cs by 15 minutes. The reason you hard push lane is because if you back without pushing you are going to miss out on some cs, but more importantly you risk your lane "RNGing" the other wave and pushing. THIS IS REALLY BAD. By the time you get back to lane your wave could be 3/4 pushed to the enemy tower and now you get to stand back and watch them freeze lane for the next 5 minutes denying you a ton of farm. Hard pushing forces your wave to the tower and if you do it fast enough forces a complete lane reset, which is your end goal when you hard push. Something low elo players also do pretty often is they will stay in lane way too long thinking thats earning them an advantage in cs and experience. In some cases this might work but for the most part your enemy has just given you a free +6 cs lead and a free back because you will get back to lane without hardly any creeps or exp. Plus, the enemy will get back to lane just slightly before you, which lowers the chance of you missing any cs because they will be doing damage to your wave trying to counter push. This puts your wave in a great position for when you return to lane.
  • Freezing Lane. Freezing lane is a pretty misunderstood term in my opinion. When a lot of players think of freezing lane they think that they can just freeze their lane all game, come out + 150 cs on their opponent and stomp the game, this isn't how freezing works unless you are stomping as a top lane tank, but because I'm focusing on ADC's for this I won't go into that (If you REALLY want me to I can later). Freezing lane is a great way to punish your opponents for pushing when they don't have an advantage on you. Ideally, you want to be able to freeze the wave just outside of turret range. How do you freeze lane? Freezing lane is done by simply pulling aggro on the 3 approaching melee minions. You will know when youve successfully done this because you can see little "!" effects above them when they aggro you. Once this is done you can offset the path of the minions by simply walking to one side of the lane, typically you wanna walk to the outside where the pushes lie. This will force the 3 melee minions to all attack the same target when they lose aggro on you. This deals much more damage to a single minion per second and it continues til the wave is dead. More or less you are forcing the enemies minion wave to RNG and progress farther towards your turret while you focus on getting the last hit. Good freezes are hard to continue for very long, usually you will get 3-4 waves out of a freeze unless you are absolutely stomping and are not worried about dying at all. It is easy to mess up freezes because even a couple auto attacks that aren't the perfect last hit can cause your minion wave to catch up in damage and force them to progress towards the enemy tower. I find that I can freeze quite often if I hard push after they back. Because you aren't in lane when they return they automatically think "oh they aren't here, push", and very rarely will they be able to get the wave to push entirely to your turret. Even if you only get 2 waves out of the freeze that is still 12-13 creeps you possibly denied from your opponent, and that adds up.
How to prevent poor lane management? This is actually a good question. I'm really surprised by the amount of players that don't know the option to disable auto attack when you aren't moving. Disabling this alone is one of the best ways to avoid managing your lane poorly, because with this option on you run the risk of constantly auto attacking creeps you didn't intend to attack, slow pushing and missing cs. Auto attack canceling is also very important as an ADC. I'm not going to go into orbwalking too much as I've seen tons of threads on it but if you want to learn about orbwalking here is a good description of it, and here is an example of how effective orbwalking is on my favorite champion Vayne. Watch how these guys reposition Vayne after every auto attack in order to dodge damage. Every champion has an auto attack animation specific to themself. Some are slower than others in terms of when the projectile is released, as well as how much additional animation they have after the projectile is released. By auto attack canceling, you are stopping this animation that occurs after your projectile has already taken flight allowing for quicker repositioning and more accurate last hits.

This thread is already pretty long so I don't want to make it too boring so I'll just end with some tricks for improving your gameplay with this new knowledge.

Minion waves spawn every 30 seconds starting at 1:30. Early game it takes both you and the minions roughly 26 seconds to get to your turret. The middle point is reached at right around 32-34 seconds. So ideally, if you want to shove a wave out and provide yourself with a good lane reset, you need to shove the lane so that all of your creeps die to turret before the enemies next wave of minions gets to the turret. If this doesn't happen then you've pushed the lane on yourself. How? Because every second that the enemies minion wave is stopped from progressing forward is a second your wave has to push. How i try to track is is by looking at the game clock and deciding if I can push the wave before they get reinforcements. The actual math I'll leave up to you guys.

What about late game? Lane management is definitely more important in the early to middle stages of the game. Once you get damage to clear waves seconds this probably about the time that the laning phase is over so you should clear and then look to make plays on the map. Freezing at like 25 minutes in unless your Nasus is not going to win you very many games. Late game is when turret pressure becomes way more important than missing 12 cs, so here is a great trick for manipulating lanes in the late game. I know leaving cs is painful but sometimes it can benefit your team greatly. If you've ever seen an LCS team create a 30+ minion wave of mage creeps and wonder how they did it look no further. This is pretty easy to do but takes time for the wave to build up. All you have to do is catch the enemy minion wave as it meets yours similar to freezing. After this kill the 3 mage creeps and leave the melees to die to your wave. This creates a slowly building minion wave that will become huge in about a 1:30-2:00. It is best to do this with the wave right outside your turret, giving the wave as much time as possible to build up. You can use this to apply huge pressure on 2 areas of the map forcing the enemy to either split up or decide where they should team up.
I have a couple of really handy images I've taken from helpful threads in the past, and honestly I don't have the links for the threads but I'll post the images anyway, I'm sure someone knows of the posts and will correct me so I can give them credit as I'm ridiculed. These are extremely handy.
  • Here is a map showing travel times of minions. It doesn't show the travel time in the mid lane, but I'm pretty sure mid lane minions arrive 6-8 seconds faster than top and bottom minions.
  • This image shows why freezing doesn't last forever and you shouldn't expect it to. This chart doesn't take into affect RNG but it is really accurate and a great drawing. I really wish I had the original posts because both of them were very well done. I'll be sure to include them if someone provides me the links.
  • This is a nice table for checking max cs at certain points in the game, great for challenging yourself as well as seeing just how many cs you are missing from your lane alone, you will probably be surprised.
Good luck summoners!

Hey everyone. Mowzer here. I am a diamond jungle main on both the Korean and NA servers. I have been playing since closed beta and I love theory crafting. Here is my fourth stab (previous)at a tier list for junglers, in Solo Q. This list is for patch 5.2 and focuses on Junglers in general. This list is not aimed at any specific MMR. I have been asked to do a low MMR tier list and with enough interest I would be happy to make one. These are the champions, I feel, are strong in Solo Q, but that does not mean that everyone else is trash. I have spent a great deal of time thinking, playing games (on both NA and KR), testing champions, reading guides, and watching games to develop this list.

This patch was a mild nerf to junglers. The addition of 100 gold to upgrading the jungle item was aimed at stopping three various situations when the jungle could back to upgrade rather quickly. These three specific instances are: 1) A team invades level 1 and the jungler gets first blood and then is able to back to upgrade. 2) The jungler takes one camp for level two and then invades the enemy jungler at their first buff to kill them and back if successful to upgrade. I refer to this as the “lvl 2 cheese.” 3) The jungler clears three camps and backs to upgrade. For my play style, this is not a massive nerf. I feel it will only hinder those that play the very aggressive early level invades and those who like the safety of backing after three camps. I can see another situation coming from this, invading the second buff or flat out stealing it. Since a great deal of junglers won’t back, I can see an enemy jungle going aggressive at the second buff. Watch out for invades! Save your ward trinket for aggressive junglers or at the second buff to counter this.

The following are listed from strongest to weakest, but none of these junglers are remotely under powered. Also, at the end of the list I have included what I feel are the 11-20 junglers, in no specific order. Attention! This is a top ten tier list, not a complete tier list. I will say that again, this is NOT a complete tier list of every champion that can jungle.

Top 4 jungle bans: Rek’sai, Jarvan, Lee Sin, Fiddlesticks.

Top 5 – The big hitters: - note (5th to 1st) means that I ranked the champion on my list at 5th last time and now is placed 1st. Unlisted means they were not on the previous list.
  1. Jarvan (1st to 1st) – Praise the son! Well, he is the son of the king. Riot, nerf this champion. Why? I want to play him again and not because he’s OP. He has almost everything a jungler needs to be a top pick. He’s innately tanks and has a high damage to tank ratio. He has fantastic ganks and great utility. His E + Q combo makes it easy for him to get in and out to tower dive, steal dragon/baron or take an objective. Build him pure tank or tanky DPS and he does insanely well. Watch out, he is weak his first clear and strong invades can dominate and counter gank him. Pantheon and Lee Sin make short work of him early on. Don’t forget that your ultimate can screw over your team as much as it can the enemy team. Also, you can jump walls with your ultimate if the target is close enough to you. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – Ganks, team fight. Cons – early invades, mana.
  2. Fiddlesticks (2nd to 2nd) – Surprise mother f##ker! I ban this champion every, single game. He has no issues clearing with or without a jungle item. His ganks all game are amazing and he scales amazingly. He only needs hourglass to be effective and anything outside of that just makes him an even better pick. Be careful because he is made of straw. Watch out for wards and upgrade your trinket early on. If you get caught out and are unable to ult you become nearly useless. Suggested jungle enchant: Magus. Pros – CC, team fight. Cons – CC, getting caught out.
  3. Pantheon (4th to 3rd) – The baker always delivers. Mandrop the enemy team into oblivion. He has an insanely good early game and has the potential to snowball the lanes easily. His passive makes tower diving easy and flash + W can catch a carry out of position with ease. Ultimate behind the enemy to cut off their retreat, drop on top of them for maximum damage or just use it to split push/control the map. Pantheon is an aggressive jungler and is not for the type that likes to sit back and farm. You need to balance your build with him or else you will fall off as the game progresses. You then, basically, become a stun bot. You have nearly no escape, so when you go in, you’re in. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – ganks, early-mid game. Cons – Late game, poor escape
  4. Lee Sin (3rd to 4th) – I see, said the blind man. Kick them into the graveyard, not safety. He has possibly the highest skill cap on this list. To be a master of the Lee you need to know you limits. His early game is amazing and has one of the highest playmaking skills out of any jungler. Manage your cooldowns and don’t help the enemy team by kicking them to safety. Itemize carefully because if you don’t you will become useless as the game goes on. Sightstone is one of your best friends because it helps you not only control the map but allows for you to get around the map. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – Utility, invading. Cons – Late game, skill cap.
  5. Vi (6th to 5th) – A little smash and grab. She’s finally here! With Jarvan being picked and banned 24/7, thanks flavor of the month jerks, she’s getting a lot more play. She has a solid kit and a great damage to tank ratio. She has great mobility and ganks. Her ultimate can, literally, shove everything out of the way as she dives her target and her passive keeps her alive more often than you would think. Don’t spam Q when clearing or you will run OOM without blue buff. Make sure you build her to match what your team needs. Don’t fall behind and still rush damage because you might not live long enough to do anything. Be careful ulting targets that have escapes because you could find yourself alone and surrounded by enemies that wouldn’t mind smashing your head like a cupcake. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – CC, shred. Cons – disengage, mana issues.
Bottom 5 – The runners up:
  1. Rek’Sai (5th to 6th) – Click, click, rwar, SCREAM! Her early game got nerfed a bit more but Riot still hasn’t touched her biggest issues, her cool downs. She has amazing damage to tank ratio still and amazing mobility. She can use her tunnels to gank or move around the map. Build a network and traverse the map easily. Use her ult to farm the jungle, split push, gank, secure objectives, etc. Make sure you place tunnels often and wisely. Don’t just give the enemy free gold for no reason. Make sure to manage your merge and submerge correctly, or you might end up looking pretty stupid. It’s easy to grab a level lead and hold it by using tunnels and your ultimate. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – damage to tank ratio, mobility. Cons – kiting, iffy CC.
  2. Hecarim (10th to 7th) – Look at my horse. My Horse is amazing! The buffs did the trick for bring him back to life. He’s an even stronger pick for top lane with the heal buff but I shouldn’t say that because I don’t want people picking him. He has amazing mobility and with gank boots and homeguard he’s everywhere. Crush the enemy lanes for an early lead and snowball your graceful stride to victory. Itemize and try not to fall behind. Hecarim needs items to be useful because his kit only allows for all ins. You can’t just sit back and throw your poo at the enemy like some can. Don’t spam all your mana clearing if you plan to gank or else you’re just going to look stupid and do nothing. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – initiate, mobility. Cons - item dependent, mana.
  3. Rengar (9th to 8th) – Kills are his catnip. He likes to pounce from the bushes or the shadows. He melts carries with ease and can go either glass cannon to melt face or tanky to still melt face, just slower. His clearing is decent but his ganks are better. Split push for days or execute a carry caught out. He has insane mobility with his pounce and ultimate and can easily cross the map. Know when to build him full damage and when to get tankier. Itemize incorrectly and you might be a rug on the floor for people to wipe their feet on. Manage your stacks so you can optimize your damage or cc. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior. Pros – burst, manaless. Cons - item dependent, cc.
  4. Xin Zhao (8th to 9th) – Stop playing Jarvan, he sucks. Play Ghetto Jarvan, so I can play Jarvan instead. He has solid clears and takes very little damage with the heal from his W. His passive is a welcomed shred to all the ADs on the team. His kit is similar to Jarvan’s, but not as much mobility/utility. Xin does split the enemy team and stick to his target better though. He has amazing damage to tank ratio and decent sustain. Grab warrior and an offensive item to carry more or just go pure tank after warrior to almost never die. Be careful ulting because you can actually help the enemy team by throwing them into positions they’d actually like to be in. Also, you have escape outside of flash so when you’re in, you’re all in. Suggested jungle enchant: Warrior or Devourer. (I prefer the CDR and armor pen from warrior but devourer can be a good pick when you are able to farm and or get lots of kills/assists.) Pros – stick, tanky. Cons – no escape, kiting.
  5. Cho’gath (7th to 10th) – Nom, nom, nom nom, nnnnnoooommmm. This cheeky “little” fellow loves to eat the carries. He has an amazing kit with, effectively, three CC. His Q is both a knock up and a slow and his W is a silence that scales per point. He is passively tanky and can either be a bursty mage or a tank with lots to offer. Max Q when going AP to dish out more damage, max W (usually max this first) to utilize the extended silence or max E for clears and tons of damage on auto attacks. Don’t spam spells without blue or you’ll run OOM. Practice your skills shots or else you’ll just be a manaless tank that just screams randomly. Kiting is not your friend so randiuns comes in handy. You can easily get 40% cdr in 15 minutes by rushing magus and frozen heart. This makes for laying down the law. Suggested jungle enchant: Magus or Juggernaut. (I almost always build magus on him, because it helps him power spike early. Also, it makes it easy to get 40% cdr on him. I, typically, will rush frozen heart as my second item. This allows for him to max cdr, even without runes/masteries, as early as 15 minutes. Juggernaut is a solid pick too and is more aimed at a tanky build. Juggernaut is more of a Cho’pansy style and Magus the Cho’god approach.) Pros – cc, tanky, cons – mana, kiting.
Contested champions (these are champions I wanted to place in top 10 but felt others did slightly better): Sejuani – Great tank and initiator with lots of CC. Nunu – Amazing counter jungler and map controller with the new ward trinket update., Udyr – A solid jungler that has the ability to chase down targets and lay down DMG with CC. Kha’zix – Hyper carry with high mobility. His downfall is his lack of hard CC and requires lots of gold/kills.
11-20 Junglers: This section was added by request and will not be explained in detail. They are in no specific order. – Sejuani, Nidalee, Master Yi, Elise, Olaf, Nunu, Shyvana, Nautilus, Udyr, Kha’zix.

Honorable mentions - I added this section to ease the rage over various junglers not listed above. This is NOT a complete tier list and is a top 10 tier list. There are far more than 10, even 20, junglers. Some are niche picks and require the right situation to be viable or need a great deal of skill/luck to pull off. The honorable mentions are - Twisted Fate, Karma, Diana, Gragas, Skarner, Eve, Kayle, Noc, Karthus, Zac, Shaco, Rammus, Wu, and every single champion not listed.

My social sites are Facebook, Twitch, Youtube, and Twitter. Have a wonderful day and best of luck you in your games.

TL;DR – This patch nerfed the early backing for junglers to upgrade jungle the item and shifted around the top junglers a bit. Rek’sai did get nerfed again but she still has a lot of power. Please, nerf Jarvan. Why? Because I want to play him again and not because he’s OP.
