As we all know, Season 5 has already landed in our clients, with that comes the rank reset to gauge how we did in the past season. I've reached Challenger just this past season(from plat 5 in season 3 to challenger in season 4), and here are some of I did to reach my goal.
  1. Don't play all 10 placements in one go. Play 1-2 games every other day. This will help you go into full playing mode since you will play with a refreshed mind and a nice mood. Playing many games will exhaust not only your body but also your mind, especially when you lose a game and you would want to get that game back? It'll be harder every time, since everyone is playing to get their desired rank.
  2. Take a break every game to chill out and to reflect on your mistakes whether you won or you lost. This will improve your mind to not do the same thing on your next game. Also, before going into game, have a good mood running.
  3. Duo with someone you know and trust as much as possible. This will reduce your anxiety because you will have someone that you know will help you through the game.
  4. When duo-ing with someone, play adc/support or jungle/mid(or top). Having synergy early will help you snowball the game.
  5. Play one role(best role) and 1-2(if best pick is banned) champions as much as possible. Having one best champion to play will greatly help how you perform in-game.
  6. Use WARDS.
  7. Dragon > Tower (since dragon stacks stats now).
  8. Baron > Inhib dat LOOOONG range cannon minion + poke comp is too OP.
  9. Finish the game if you have the chance, and don't throw the game.
  10. Love your teammates and don't be toxic
  11. Enjoy and have fun!.
